Therapy Services

Family Counseling Service provided 8,158 hours of therapy to 2,333 clients in 2025. Our therapists supported individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday challenges, creating spaces where people could feel heard and understood.

Care extended beyond our Corpus Christi and Kingsville offices. Through community partnerships, FCS brought services into homes, schools, juvenile justice settings, and senior centers, helping reduce barriers to mental health support.

Crime Victim Services

Experiencing a violent crime can affect a person’s sense of safety, stability, and well-being. Through compassionate advocacy, trauma-informed care, and connections to community resources, FCS helped victims understand their options and take steps toward healing.

In 2025, adults ages 25–59 represented the largest age group served by Crime Victim Services, while child sexual abuse was the most frequently reported crime among victims served.

Education & Clinical Supervision

Strengthening access to care also means supporting the professionals who provide it. FCS invested in student clinicians and developing mental health professionals through supervised experience and professional guidance.

In 2025, three student clinicians representing three universities received 62 hours of clinical supervision through FCS. Those students provided 126 hours of therapy in our Corpus Christi and Kingsville offices.

The students represented Northern Arizona University, Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, and Texas A&M University–Kingsville.

Supporting the Mental Health Workforce

Across the year, FCS supervisors provided 386 hours of clinical supervision to students, FCS team members, associate-level clinicians, and professionals from other community organizations.

By sharing their experience and expertise, our supervisors helped developing clinicians strengthen their skills and confidence while supporting mental health care throughout the Coastal Bend.
