Senior Citizen Services

Senior Sharing Groups are provided to local senior citizens and encourage a social, active lifestyle.

In these groups, people receive information and discuss issues that affect their lives.

Our groups help seniors thrive! We encourage seniors to remain social, no matter their age. Socializing can help with depression, dementia, and loneliness. We will provide information on various topics that will allow seniors to remain active and social.

Senior Sharing Groups are provided at local senior community centers and are free of charge to the participants.

Topics include dealing with the death of loved ones, depression, and more:

• Loneliness

• Death of a spouse or child

• Stress management

• Isolation or depression

• Maintaining independence

• Alzheimer's issues

• Retirement and transition

Family Counseling Service offers home-based services for seniors and/or their caregivers who are unable to make it to the office.
